Planning, Design & Crafting
Working with wood is my passion. As a result, I am interested in all areas of carpentry. From fitted wardrobes to a garden summer house.
From planning and design, all the way to project completion, I take a collaborative approach. I encourage as much input on a design as possible from my clients, to ensure their piece exceeds expectations.
All of my projects are delivered at a fair cost. Quality and reliability are also paramount in my work.
British grown timber
On certain projects that require that something special, I promote the use of British grown hardwoods.
Local to myself is an abundance of dealers in British grown timber, ranging from stock planks to beautiful, figured pieces.
Time and cost restraints on the majority of jobs require the use of more conventional sheet wood, veneer, and softwood. Today most of these products are FSC or PEFC-certified, ensuring sustainable practices from the timber’s origin location. Where possible, I always strive to use homegrown.
